The Frigidaire WF1CB refrigerator water filter is designed specifically for Next Generation Energy Star compliant fridges manufactured after April 2001.

This water filter cartridge reduces lead, chlorine, cysts, mercury, turbidity, particulates, and some herbicides and pesticides, without removing fluoride. It improves the taste and odour or your water and ice. The Frigidaire PureSource Ice and Water Filtration System is tested and certified by NSF International to meet or exceed NSF/ANSI Standards 42 and 53.

The Fridigaire PureSource Refrigerator Filter WF1CB replaces filters found in side-by-side refrigerators with a round, plastic filter housing. The WF1CB filter cartridge sits inside the white plastic 'cup' and you'll need to unscrew the cup before you can see the filter. It is found inside your refrigerator's fresh food compartment for replacement ease and convenience. How To Replace The Frigidaire PureSource WF1CB Water Filter:

1. Unscrew the filter cup and dump the water.
2. Pull the used filter straight down and put the new filter inside the filter cup. The end of the filter with the small o-ring should be up.
3. Screw the filter cup into the housing with the new filter in the filter cup. The filter cartridge will align itself as the cup is tightened.
4. If your refrigerator has a 'Change Filter' light, reset it.

How To Reset The 'Change Filter' Light:

1. Press the reset button and hold it down until the green light begins to flash. This may take up to 15 seconds.

For best performance and to ensure clean and safe drinking water, it is highly recommended to change your filter every 6 months.
